Hey, can anyone tell us why nobody talks about masturbating? It’s not exactly a dinner party conversation point is it? It’s more like a conversation stopper! It seems that history dictates that we keep this pastime secret & private – which is fine, except that us Brits tend to take things to extremes & not talk about it at all, not even to our children. We believe every parent should be encouraging their teenagers to explore themselves to ensure they are fully aware of what their bodies are capable of.

Put yourself in the shoes of a teenager, then read over the ‘Ten Positive Reasons To Get Fiddling’ again at the top of this page. If, by reading this, a teenager can take more control over his/her body & build up their sexual confidence then isn’t this a positive step? It’s certainly better than any potential negative situation which may occur (through them not reading this) whereby the individual gets him/herself into a tricky sexual situation due to lack of knowledge, lack of confidence & lack of having the courage to do or say what they wish.
